T-IIM organised an industrial visit to Muralya Dairy Products Pvt. Ltd., Kattakada, with a motive of transforming academic knowledge into tangible learning with industry insights. This initiative provided T-IIMians with firsthand experience of company’s industrial processes, operational efficiency and its commitment to high standards of quality, and an understanding of the proactive and innovative work culture.
T-IIM students gained practical insights into various facets of dairy processing, the meticulous quality control systems employed, and the innovation-led methodologies adopted by the organisation, in addition to a thorough insight into its manufacturing procedures. A major feature of this trip was an extremely beneficial session with Mr. S.K. Menon, CEO and his team, who educated the students on their approach to business operations and quality management standards, challenges in the industry and the industry’s approach to meeting those challenges.
