As part of the TIIM Leadership Launchpad series the students of T-IIM got to visit the Adani Vizhinjam International Seaport. They also visited the Adani Foundation CSR and Community Skill Park.
The students learned a lot from this visit to the Adani Vizhinjam International Seaport. They saw how a big port works and what it takes to be a leader. The Adani Vizhinjam International Seaport is a deal because it is one of the best ports in the world and it follows very strict rules. The students also learned about the plans behind Indias deep-water transshipment port.
The students gained a lot of knowledge about what companies like Adani Vizhinjam International Seaport do to help people. They have programs that help people in the community and teach them skills. This is important because it shows that companies like Adani Vizhinjam International Seaport care about people not about making money.
The team from T-IIM was treated nicely by the senior people at Adani Vizhinjam International Seaport. They met Dr. Anil Balakrishnan, who’s in charge of Corporate Affairs and Mr. Deepesh K, who is the Head of HR. These people were very open and willing to share what they know which made the visit more useful for the students.
This visit to Adani Vizhinjam International Seaport taught the students of T-IIM something. They learned that to be a leader you have to be good at your job and also care about people. The students of T-IIM learned a lot from the visit, to Adani Vizhinjam International Seaport and the Adani Foundation CSR and Community Skill Park.
