The LEAP 2026 journey took our MBA students into one of the most exciting sunrise sectors of the new economy — the Space & Satellite industry.
As part of the industry exposure, our students visited HEX20, a Technopark-based satellite company, where they had an engaging and insightful interaction with Mr. Aravind MB, Co-Founder & Chief Operating Officer, HEX20. The session gave students a valuable glimpse into the business opportunities, entrepreneurial possibilities and emerging career avenues being created by the rapidly evolving space sector.
But the experience went beyond conversation.
Students also had the opportunity to visit the Clean Room—a highly controlled environment where satellite components are carefully assembled and tested. Seeing this specialised facility first-hand helped them understand the precision, discipline, technology and operational excellence required behind every space mission.
For our students, it was a powerful reminder that the future of business is expanding into new frontiers—and space is no longer just about exploration; it is becoming a growing ecosystem of innovation, entrepreneurship, technology and opportunity.
